C++ and graphics programmer

I'm a research engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, working on graphics for safety-critical systems.

I studied Computer Science with a specialization in Computing at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), and it was there that I got hooked on computer graphics. I found it fascinating how interesting and complex the field is, and I wanted to keep learning more.

That pushed me to do a Master's in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality, also at UPC, and I'm still learning today. In my free time I read through several papers, LearnOpenGL, and right now I'm working through Game Engine Architecture by Jason Gregory, always digging into the complexities, optimizations and different techniques behind it. In reality, anything related to graphics, building tools, optimizing systems or pushing performance limits is something I really enjoy.

Experience

Research Engineer at Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) (Aug. 2023 – Present). Building an open-source research platform for safety-critical avionics graphics, from a custom C/OpenGL SC rendering pipeline to a full VR flight simulator testbench.
